OEM Wooden Toys
OEM wooden toys: your design, our production line
OEM means the product is yours and the manufacturing is ours. You bring the design, the specification or the reference sample; we engineer it for production, make pre-production samples, and manufacture the volume order to the approved sample.
Most of our OEM work comes from three situations: an importer who wants a product the catalogue does not cover, a brand that wants its own version of a proven item, and a retailer who needs a specific size, colour or piece count to hit a price point or a shelf plan.
What can be customised
- The product itself. New items, or a modified version of an existing item — size, piece count, construction, hardware.
- Material and finish. Wood species, thickness, natural or painted finish, colour matching to a Pantone reference.
- Branding on the product. Logo printing, laser engraving or printed parts.
- Packaging. Colour box, display box, hang tag, barcode and carton marks — the same scope as our private label service.
- Documentation. Instruction sheets, assembly guides and the labelling your market requires.
How the OEM process runs
- Brief and feasibility. Send a drawing, a photo, a sample or a written specification with target quantity and market. We come back with a costed proposal, including which parts are straightforward and which are not.
- Quotation and MOQ. Price and minimum order quantity are confirmed together, because a heavily customised item and a colour change on a catalogue item sit at very different minimums. Tell us your target volume and we will confirm the workable minimum for that item.
- Pre-production sample. We make a sample of the actual product — material, colour, packaging — for your approval.
- Approval and production. Production starts against the approved sample. A typical cycle is around 30 days after order confirmation, subject to complexity, material and quantity.
- Final check and shipment. Goods are inspected against the approved sample, packed, and shipped with the documents your market needs.
Design protection
Your drawings and your product designs are used to produce your order. We do not put a customer's design into our catalogue or offer it to another buyer. If your company requires a non-disclosure agreement before sharing drawings, send yours and we will review it.
What we need to start
A reference (drawing, photo, sample or existing product), the target quantity, the destination market, and the certification you need to demonstrate. For the development of a brand-new item, a sketch with dimensions and a photo of the look you are aiming for is usually enough for a first quotation.

Frequently asked questions
What do you need to quote a custom wooden toy?
A drawing, photo, existing sample or written specification, plus the target quantity, destination market and the certification you need to demonstrate.
Can you match a colour?
Yes. Send a Pantone reference or a physical colour sample and we will match it on the pre-production sample for your approval.
Do you make pre-production samples?
Yes. You approve a pre-production sample of the actual product, including packaging where relevant, before volume production starts.
How long does a custom sample take, and what does it cost?
Custom sampling takes about 10 days. Samples are charged per item, and the sample fee is deducted from the bulk order once the order for that item reaches 1,000 pieces.
Will my design be sold to other buyers?
No. Your drawings are used to produce your order and are not added to our catalogue or offered to another customer. We can work under an NDA if you require one.
