Kids Furniture Manufacturer

Children’s tables, chairs and storage, made in the same plant as our toys: panel cutting, edge treatment and painting on our own lines in Yunhe, Zhejiang.

What we make in the kids furniture line

Children’s furniture is where our toy process is at its most useful: the same panel cutting, edge banding, drilling and painting lines that build a play kitchen also build a table and chair set.

  • Table and chair sets (TS1500, TS1501) — a low table with two or four chairs, sold as a set or separately.
  • Storage units (TS1502) — low shelving and toy boxes that fit a child’s reach.
  • Room sets — table, chairs and storage packaged as one nursery or playroom programme.
  • Branded ranges with your own colour references, printed panels and packaging.

The range sits in the kids wooden furniture category.

Furniture is tested differently from a toy

The moment a product is something a child sits on or climbs, the test programme changes. These are the points that decide whether a design can be sold at all.

  • Static and dynamic load. Seats and tabletops are loaded well beyond the intended user weight.
  • Stability and tip-over. Chairs and storage units are assessed for the load a child applies when climbing.
  • Finger traps and gaps. Folding and hinged parts are checked so a small finger cannot be caught.
  • Coating and edges. Water-based paint checked against the EN71-3 migration limits, with all panel edges rounded or banded.
  • Age and use labelling. Every unit ships with the intended age, the maximum load and the assembly instructions.

Flat-pack, panels and the freight arithmetic

Furniture is bulky, so the panel layout is designed against the carton, and the carton against the container. This is the single biggest lever on landed cost, and it is decided at drawing stage, not after production.

  • Panel nesting is optimised per board so that offcuts are reused rather than discarded.
  • Hardware, fixings and instructions are packed per carton and checked by weight.
  • Retail-ready packaging and barcodes are produced to your artwork if the item goes straight to a shelf.

Sampling and ordering

A table or storage unit samples in about 10 days from an existing panel set when the change is a colour, an edge profile or a printed face. Production runs around 30 days after order confirmation. In-stock items start at 50 pieces per item, and furniture can be consolidated with a toy order into one shipment.

Frequently asked questions

Do you make children’s furniture as well as toys?

Yes. Tables, chairs and storage units are made on the same panel, edge-banding, drilling and painting lines as our play kitchens and other panel toys.

Is the furniture supplied flat-packed?

Flat-packed is standard, with hardware and illustrated assembly instructions per carton. A pre-assembled version can be quoted where a buyer needs it.

How is children’s furniture tested?

For load, stability, finger traps, edges and coating rather than for small parts, because the child sits on or climbs into the product.

What is the MOQ?

In-stock items start at 50 pieces per item; OEM and private-label furniture is quoted per product.

Can you match our colour reference and print our brand on the panels?

Yes. Colour matching, printed panels and branded packaging are all part of the normal scope; a matching colour needs a sample approval before production.

How long does production take?

A typical cycle is around 30 days after order confirmation, subject to complexity, material and quantity.
